Inspired by old-fashioned wooden roundabouts, Here's Carousel Horses, by Shannon Christine Designs, a cross stitch design with a soft, nostalgic atmosphere.

It features a total of 6 horses, some lifting one leg as if about to start, others almost ready to gallop, all eager for the children to climb on their saddle and the carousel to get going.

You can stitch the piece as it is or decide to rearrange the horses in any way you wish. You could  for instance have three horses following each other in a row, one white, one bay and another white, which would form a smaller landscape format.
