Simple Garden sampler

Brought to you by Lesley Teare, this cute little cross stitch sampler is easy and relaxing to stitch, each motif being placed in a box. It a perfect project if you are being interrupted, or have little time to stitch in between other tasks, because you can complete one motif at a time. 

The design can be stitched either on a black or white background fabric, resulting in a very different atmosphere. It can be completed on its own, however it is also part of a pair and can be matched with the Simple Country sampler, in a mirror effect. 

The Simple Garden sampler features a landscape with a house at night, moon and stars shining in the sky. Tulips, pansies and primroses are in full bloom. Butterflies and other garden bugs are enjoying the peace and exploring the grounds.

The pattern features full cross stitches only, with just a few details in backstitch and French knots for the antennas. 

A tutorial is included with the chart for all stitches.
