Here's a very romantic cross stitch design featuring a Bird Cage, by Lesley Teare.
There are no birds in this cage, only roses weaving their way in and butterflies flying around. A pretty porcelain jug holds one of the larger roses, just picked from the garden. Next to it is a cup of coffee. Enjoy a peaceful break!
The floss palette is very rich with bright blue butterflies contrasting with softer pink colors for the roses and light yellow for the china.The cross stitch pattern is full cross stitches only, with some backstitch detailing.
