Winter Wreath
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Faby Reilly Designs
This small square pattern ( 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch) features a fine Christmas wreath. The designs consists of a cross stitch base onto which details of holly, mistletoe and foliage are added, as well as small silver blue snowflakes.
The specialty stitches include lazy daisy stitch as well as ribbed spiderweb stitch. This could be an opportunity to challenge yourself and learn new stitches, guided by the excellent tutorials provided by the designer.
The pattern includes seed beads which give the embroidery a dimensional effect, as well as metallic thread for a festive touch.
The finished piece can be framed (with an excellent 2-page tutorial accompanying you at each step for an impeccable finish). You can also use as a greeting card, or mount on the lid of a box. To turn into a Christmas ornament, finish as a slightly padded cushion, then simply hang from one corner and create a festive tassel at the opposite end.
The user-friendly chart is available in 2 steps: a first chart with the cross stitch alone and a second with additional stitches.
