The cross stitch pattern is a clever combination of mosaic like shapes combined so that they visually take the form of an animal. Take a look close and you will see myriads of tiny symbols in fun multicolor hues. Take a step back and a gentle koala is looking at you with big eyes.

The chart is very colorful thanks to the Color variations embroidery floss (DMC) used for the tiny motifs and which contrast with the dark blue background.
