Sisters skating
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Samanthapurdyneedlecraft
She said "why don't we go skating together?"
We met at the ice rink, opposite the townhall.
The Christmas market booths are all lit up, really pretty.
Putting on our skates, we share memories of Father helping us lace our shoes, as we sat on the bench.
The air is cold and crisp. It's a beautiful starry night.
We'll warm up over hot chocolate and have a little chat before we part.
Creative Poppy note:
Coat on the right side is cross stitched using DMC variegated floss. The stripe effects are obtained stitching a cross at a time, in vertical rows.
Starry night is renderd using tiny gold sequins, star shaped.
Simple life, simple joys, such as going skating with one's sister on a crisp winter night, depicted in cross stitch by Samantha Purdy.
