Oh, what a wonderful smell in the kitchen. The children have returned from playing outside in the cold and have prepared some steaming hot chocolate. The kittens are enjoying their milk too.

This cross stitch pattern by Perrette Samouiloff captures the movements and attitudes of the children and playful cats. It is designed in 3 sections, with the top "shelf" featuring a lovely collection of chocolate pots and bowls with exquisite detail. 

Colors are spare with dominant reds and purple lending the design its energy, complemented by soft blue for the steam, honey-like yellow for the hair and  and a neutral grey for the kittens.
