Designed by Perrette Samouiloff here is a delightful Bell pull that can be hung on the wall or between two doors.

If features children decorating the Christmas tree: the little girls are carrying heart-shaped ornaments and baubles, the boys are bringing along some star ornaments and gifts nicely wrapped with beautiful ribbons.

Making the bell pull:

For finishing into a bell pull, fold over the sides then the top of your stitched piece and hem the top with an invisible stitch. Slip a thin round stick through the hem thus formed, attach a small cord for hanging, and for a decorative touch, slip beads on both sides of the round stick. For the lower part, fold the edges of the embroidery in a V shape. If you wish, attach a miniature tassel, a ribbon tassel or a jewel-like ornament.

All cross stitches are full cross stitches. Stitched on 32 ct linen, over two threads, the bell-pull is 4 1/2 inch wide x 15 1/2 inch high (12 cm wide x 40 cm high )
