Specializing in vintage cross stitch post cards, Monique Bonnin has a talent for reproducing retro style images, evocative of the 50's. This one is a bit larger, more of a mini poster size, and is quite decorative as well as fun. 

The piece can be stitched on a white or light background. Here is it shown on vintage marble light grey linen from Zweigart which adds extra dimension to the background.

Body, hair and face have been depicted in cross stitch in wonderful detail. Some half stitches are used to create extra dimension and shade.  The chart comes with two extra alphabets and a blank chart if you would like to customize the location.
