This is a modern version of the popular nursery rhyme, fortune telling of kind but also a fun way for children to learn the days of the week.
The stitched text goes:
Monday's (child is) fair of face,
Tuesday's (child is) full of grace.
Wednesday's (child) will fear no foe,
Thursday's (child) has far to go.
Friday's (child) is loving and giving,
Saturday's (child) works hard for a living.
Sundays (chid is) good and kind in every way.[
Where the world child is replaced with the illustration
Frame, leaving plenty of white fabric around the design and hang the piece near a child's bed.
The cross stitch pattern includes a couple of fractional stitches for detail. A tutorial is included with the chart for all stitches.
