Marsh Marigold and Kingfisher
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Lesley Teare Designs
Sitting quietly amongst pretty marsh marigolds, the kingfisher keeps watch. The bright yellow petals of the flowers form a delightful contrast with the vivid blue feathers of the bird. The kingfisher is depicted in cross stitch in wonderful detail, it's shiny bead-like eyes seem almost alive.
The round design is surrounded by a border of smaller flowers, forming a circular frame. Once stitched on 14 ct Aida or 28ct evenweave, the design will measure 10 x 10 inch (25 x 25 cm).
A tutorial is included with the chart for all fractional stitches.
