Floral Alphabet
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Lesley Teare Designs
This cross stitch Flower alphabet taken as a whole is actually square, thanks to Lesley Teare's clever idea of regrouping letters Y and Z. So are the boxes housing the letters and flowers. This gives it a unique shape, not usually seen in alphabets. And this will enable you to use it on any project you fancy, maybe the cover of a box or an album.
The chart only uses full cross stitches, with a single backstitch detail for the birds' beaks in letter B. It is therefore the perfect pattern to teach a friend or a young one to learn cross stitch and stitch their own inital. A satisfying project for a beginner cross stitcher because it is quick and easy, yet pretty and colorful. Why not have fun together, you stitching the full design, while guiding the other person through the first steps of cross stitch?
The cross stitch pattern comes with a detailed cross stitch tutorial, like all Lesley Teare charts.
