A playful cross stitch design with a fun layout.

Given the restricted color palette, essentially orange, leafy green and golden yellow, the focus of the cross stitch pattern in on the white rabbits and eggs.

The rabbits' different positions are emphasized by the oversize carrots and eggs, as if the latter were columns or props on a theater stage. One rabbit is streching upwards, another resting lazily against an egg and the third is racing sideways, passing a pile of miniature eggs on the way.

The carrots themselves are stylised, with beautiful lace-like motifs echoing the ornamental designs of the Easter eggs.

The cross stitch pattern is worked on Beige bis Murano evenweave from Zweigart but could equaally work on Aida / Linen (Beige, Mokka, Tan, Gray) of your choice
