Round Tin cans 3 (Butterfly Flowers)
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Gera! by Kyoko Maruoka
Flowers that turn into butterflies! Where do the petals really end, and when do they become butterflies? With these petals like wings ready to fly, it looks as if the flower were alive.
A lovely idea by Kyoko Maruoka, designer for GERA!
The Japanese designer was inspired by two flowers that grow in her country, with yellow tones for the rapeseed flower and purple for the milk vetches (Astragalus). The piece is cross stitched is carried on 2 pretty colors of Permin linen. It is mounted on lids of metal boxes, with a trimming holding thesides. Note: assembly instrucions are not included with the chart.
The round pattern also lends itself to a framing in a 4inch / 10 cm hoop.
