3 Doilies

Designed by Kyoko Maruoka of GERA!, these cute little motifs fit into a circle, with perfect symetry in all four directions, a bit like a mandala design.

 

They combine pet and flower motifs:

- parrots and a carnation

- a puppy and a poppy

- a kitten and a dandlelion.

 

The motifs are really colorful and cheerful, using bright embroidery floss colors from the DMC range.

 

The doilies are quite decorative  as such, so can be stitched and embellished with a pretty trimming. They are also  ideal for any round shape projects such as box covers or pincushions that are fitted in a round base. They will also make a very cute tray lining for a round tray.
