Purple Iris Biscornu
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY FABY REILLY DESIGNS
Here is a large blooming iris captured in stitches by talented designer Faby Reilly. The cross stitch pattern has a certain Art-deco feel, both because the flowers are outlined almost like stained glass and the way with the stems merge into a geometric pattern embellished with specialty stitches.
Both sides of the biscornu are cross stitched with elements beautifully merging on the side of the cushion.
The cross stitch chart comes with a comprehensive tutorial for all specialty stitches as well as for mounting the biscornu shape.
If you like irises, also check out Faby Reilly's other iris biscornu (see below), a set of four smaller flowers in deep blue hues.
