Straight from Barbara Ana's imagination, Sisters is a charming little sampler that would have been stitched at the same time by two siblings, Hannah and Betsey.

 

The pieces have been stitched on two separate pieces of fabric yet they are sewn together, as if emphasizing their sisterhood. Each little girl has featured her favorite characters and motifs; the fun part is comparing them.

 

When assembling the two pieces, the seam is embellished with big cross stitches, linking both works together.
