The pattern was stitched on 28-ct hand-dyed "Lazy River" Jobelan, which is a greyish green with a marble effect. It beautifully emphasises the white of the moonlight and the swan feathers. You could substitute this fabric with any marbled or hand dyed fabric with a blue/grey background.
