Easter Wreath

This extra cute and decorative Easter pattern features simple mini motifs of rabbits, flowers, Easter eggs and carrots.

The chart includes simple mini motifs in mostly solid colors, which makes it a piece of cake to stitch, even for a beginner cross stitcher.

The piece can be stitched on regular white Aida, with the bright and cheerful colors standing out on the extra white background . The designer however suggests working on fabric laced with silver shimmer, such as Fabric Flair's Fairy mist - which is woven with iridescent filaments and dyed in a mix of light colors of green, purple, pink, and blue.
 

To hang the finished piece in you home at Easter, mount it on a thick padded board and turn it into a decorative frame (photo), with matching ribbon masking the sides and forming a bow at the top. Alternatively, if stitched on 16ct Aida / 28 ct linen or smaller count, the stitched piece will fit into a 6" hoop.
