Wildflower Woodlands Quaker
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Tempting Tangles
The forest is teeming with life. An owl is perched on a branch high above. Down below, among the wildflowers and grass, you can spot a deer, a rabbit and a quail. All around are gorgeous quaker style flowers, blooming on long stems.
This Quaker sampler combines a classic layout with much symmetry, together with figurative elements. The animals actually seem to be hiding among the Quaker flowers and medallions, as they would be in the woods.
The piece is worked in cross stitch, with some backstitch detail and a couple of decorative eyelets.
