Swiss Poya - Mountain Seasons
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY TAM'S CREATIONS
Based in Switzerland, Tam's Creations is inspired by the beautiful mountains that surround her. This pattern is a Poya style design, typical of the native art of Alpine villages.
This cross stitch pattern is based on the four seasons of the year in the Swiss Alps. The design represents the 4 seasons with winter trees, snow & mountains, spring ducks & birds migrating, summer cows up to the pastures & autumn grape picking.
Look close: can you spot the glass and bottle of wine? Someone's having a nice little break, up in the pastures!
This is quite a large pattern at 376 x 376 stitches, yet well worth the effort. It does not present any difficulty though because it is cross stitched in a single color (except for the little swiss flag).
A design by Tam's Creations.
