“My special royal Riverdrift sampler design to commemorate the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, features the castle, from my series of Royal Residences designs, with the Chapel showing on the far right.

Swans (which mate for life) are often used as a symbol of eternal love and as all mute swans on British open water belong to and are protected by the Queen (the centuries-old tradition of Swan Upping still takes place very year on the River Thames, close to Windsor), I had to include a pair.

A fun project that is fast to stitch, with lots of celebratory bubbly and a very large cake!”
