Cross stitch designer Perrette Samouiloff recalls the happy moments of her childhood, spent in the Jardin du Luxembourg, one of the nicests parks in Paris, located near the Quartier Latin, on the "Rive gauche". Featured in this pattern are all the staple items of the park: the green metal chairs that can be set wherever you fancy, the kiosk, surrounded by old-fashioned climbing roses, the basin, where the children meet to sail their model sail-boats. A young girl, in fashionable garb, walks her dog. A boy races along on his scooter. In the background, visible beyond the line of trees, is the Eiffel tower that sits further down the banks of river Seine.

The pattern is stitched on light off white linen, and includes a couple of fractional stitches for detail.

The round design can fit into a square frame, a cushion cover of can be fitted into a 12 inch (30cm) round frame or embroidery hoop.
