Perrette Samouiloff has a special gift for depicting children and animals in cross stitch. Look how sweet and expressive each of these farm animals look, in particular the new born lamb trembling on its legs.

There is a summer feel in this pattern. One little girl carries a basket of cherries, another is wearing a straw hat. Surrounding them are fields of poppies and cornflowers.
