As the Olympics approach, so does the excitement. One of our most beloved sports is Rythmic gymnastics where the athletes dance and perform using hoops and ribbons, in perfect coordination with the music. The sport requires elegance, agility and perfect coordination. Its sister winter sport is figure skating, that involves similar dancing skills.

This cross stitch pattern by Perrette Samouiloff is a wonderful tribute to these graceful athletes, moving their bodies effortly as they thrust hoops and ribbons in the air.
