Baroque Christmas Ornament

Graced with little cherub angels, here is an elegant and sophisticated piece to cross stitch and mount as an ornament.

 

This cushion shaped decoration is cross stitched on both sides, with a star motif on the reverse. The design is symetrical in all 4 angles. In the center, a little hollow has been created with a sequin and seed bead. This emphasizes the volume of the stitched part.

 

The cross stitch has been finished as a small cushion, using a beaded ribbon trimming with large mat gold beads. This reinforces the baroque touch. Mounting instructions are included with the chart.

Note: the ornament can also be finished as a biscornu.
