CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Perrette Samouiloff

Out there in the orchards, it's harvest time, with the branches of fruit trees arching under their heavy load. 

This cross stitch design is a tribute by Perrette Samouiloff to her favorite varieties of autumn fruit: Beurré Hardy, Williams and Comice pears;  Elstar, Gala and Api for the apples.

The piece is worked in a pretty palette of autumn colors, in a mix of oranges and pinks, not to mention a hint of purple for 2 small figs.

The chart includes 3/4 cross stitches, worked in a single strand, and providing extra volume and roundness to each fruit. In a 3/4 cross stitch, the half-stitch of the return cross-stitch is replaced with a 1/4 stitch ending at the center.
