Georgian Houses
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Lesley Teare Designs
This sampler depicts four houses in the typical architecture of the Georgian times (18th and early 19th century England). These now very sough-for "classic" homes had generous proportions with high ceilings, symetrical small panelled windows on each side of the main entrance and an overall look of simplicity.
The cross stitch chart includes four delightful miniatures, each with a house surrounded by a garden. Each chart is 50 x 50 stitches but you can also stitch all four on the same piece of fabric.
Includes some beads. There are a couple of fractional stitches used mostly for the topiaries. Those stitches are explained in the detailed Cross stitch Guide which comes with the chart.
