Blackwork Spring Cards

They come in bright spring colors, orange, yellow, azure blue, shamrock green, and fuscia pink - each with a lighter and darker hue combined for extra depth.
These mini motifs (each is 40 x 40 and will be less than 3 inch square) will work wonders for creating not only greeting cards, but all sorts of tiny ornaments, fridge magnets, gift cards, name places, etc.
If you are new to Blackwork, this might be an opportunity to give it a try, since the motifs are small. The design includes fractional cross stitch.
Like cross stitch, Blackwork is a counted thread technique, with stitches represented on a grid. A majority of stitches are backstitch, with some cross stitch filling certain areas. The chart comes with an extensive Stitching Guide detailing all stitches including fractional stitches.
