CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY Kateryna - Stitchy Princess

This design is by Kateryna, a cross stitch designer based in Ukraine, drawing her inspiration in folk tales and nature. Apiculture is very widespread in the country and like her fellow country men and women, the designer loves to observe the bees close, dedicated this pattern to their buzzing world.

Leading the colony is the Queen, featured large and prominant in the center of the pattern, workers from the hive attending to her. Left is a honey pot, in the shape of a bee. Right is a bee keeper with a large mustache, wearing his protective gear including the special hat with a sheer net, which is cleverly rendered in long stitch over the cross stitch face. All around are flowers, hives and tiny bees super busy harvesting their sweet nectar.

The pattern is cross stitched over 2 threads on 32 Ct.  Belfast Linen from Zweigart, color 3609/2349 Vintage Sahara.
