This design by Kateryna, a cross stitch designer based in Ukraine, draws its inspiration in folk tales and nature, and features the home of the Rabbit family living in the magical forest.

Their home is a cosy wooded hut with a thatched roof. Mr Rabbit has brought his wife a flower as she stands on the doorstep welcoming him. Everything is dark in the forest but the house is warm and light can be seen through the attic window. Tiny forest motifs surround the house, wall-paper style. The pattern is framed with a border featuring carrots growing in the ground and some more long-eared rabbits.

Model stitched over 2 threads on 32 Ct. Teal linen.
