How about celebrating Christmas in soft, subdued hues of blue for a change?

This refined needlework piece features an ornamental tree design incorporating smaller motifs such as blue birds, holly, mistletoe, roses and silver snowflakes.

While the base is cross stitch, the pattern incorporates an number of specialty stitches such as butterfly Rhode's stitches, eyelets and triple crosses. There are highlights of silver thread, beadwork and sequins.

Pair it with the pink and gold version, with poinsettia flowers and doves (see below).
