This pretty little purse, actually a Biscornu shape with a central opening, is a fun way to discover a couple of embroidery stitches, beyond cross stitch, with Faby Reilly's wonderful tutorials taking you step by step as you progress in your project.
Designed as a tutorial, the BiscoBourse is acutally sold in 2 distinct versions, either intermediate or expert levels of embroidery, allowing each stitcher to learn or practice working new stitches. It's up to you to choose the level that suits you best.
- this INTERMEDIATE chart, includes in addition to cross stitch and backstitch, lazy daisy stitches and eyelet stitches, as well as colonial knots (alternative to French knots)
- the EXPERT chart (sold separately) includes in addition: bullion stitch, spiderweb stitch, closed buttonhole stitch, buttonhole cartwheel, Rhodes heart and Rhodes octagon.
