Fabric type and color:
Printed needlework fabric, with old-fashioned handwriting appearing in the background, as if stitching on a old manuscript. Text is in French but only the odd word is recognisable.
As the background is darker, the white handwriting appears in negative, as if written with chalk on a blackboard.
Colorfast and consistent in color.
