Samplings: Mr Finkel & Daugher
If you are interested in original antique samplers, and their history this is the place to browse. Samplers shown are mostly of American origin, dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th century. This is also a good resource for latest news and schedules of antique shows in the US.
Meriem Chauvet
The designer is active collecting and recharting a wonderful collection of mostly Frencha and European samplers, under the brand Couleur Tourterelle now sold here on Creative Poppy's website. Each sampler's origin is extensively researched and many reveal amazing stories which you can discover in her blog (in French).
Muriel Brunet
The designer has also put together a beautiful collection of samplers of French, German and Swiss origin, mostly of the 18th, 19th and early 20th century. She has charted many of the pieces in her collection.
