This pretty French pattern is designed to be stitched as a recipe book cover. This is the perfect place to write down all your favorite recipes and maybe turn it into a gift for someone in the family. We love the 1950's cool retro look!

The stiched piece pictured here was stitched on gingham evenweave, over one thread, using one strand of floss. The stitched area measures 3 1/2 inches wide x 5 inches high on 28ct and was cut out and glued on the cover. If you stitch this design over two threads, it will be double the size and you would be using two strands. We would then recommend to cover the whole book with the fabric and make sure you pick a book large enough to fit the pattern..

The pattern includes additional vertical text for the book edge.
