Make beautiful cross stitch covers for boxes cover of a box. This selection of charts is full of creative ideas for decorating boxes for your own use or to create personalized gifts. For mounting: we recommend putting a little stuffing under the stitched piece to give it volume. Trim angles bevel before folding over the sides to avoid excess fabric. Notch fabric for round angles or disk shapes. Center the stitched piece and fold tight over the sides, then glue in place. Depending on the thickness of the cover, use trimming or ribbon to hide the edges if applied on side (see right), or for a thin cover simply fold fabric on reverse of cover and hide with a piece of felt or matching fabric.
