Not familiar with the expression? "Come sit a spell" means "come in and sit down for a while" and is used in certain parts of the US, mostlty the Southern States.

The cross stitch piece features a fun little witch (spot her classy dress with orange flowers) putting away her broom and inviting a friend into her kitchen for a little chat. The dresser is fully equiped with mice, pumpkin, cauldron brimming with green moss, dried lizards, vials of all colors and magic books.
