Log cabin - Summer
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY GRACEWOOD STITCHES
Kathy Bungard designer of Gracewood Stitches describes the pattern in her own words:
Log Cabin - Summer is the last in my four seasons log cabin quilt patterns. Summer in our mountains is cool lakes of blue and golden sunsets burnishing the sky.
Creative Poppy says:
We love this series of contrasting borders, one for each season. They make a beautiful collection when you place them side by side.
The summer version, like all the other designs, has a little feel of Art-Deco which makes it real interesting. The pattern is full of energy with orange flowers almost like fireworks while the cool blue flowers seem to burst out of their borders.
