The pattern below is a little different. As opposed to the cross stitch patterns above, it is entirey stitched using embroidery stitches, a mix of stem stitch, lazy daisy stitch, satin stitch and again these beautiful woven roses.

The Royal Proclamations Collection
His & Hers
His is in Gold encrusted with ruby and lined in red velvet. Hers is in silver and sparkling with diamonds.
Expertly designed by Dana Batho of Peacock & Fig, the Royal Proclamation Collection, is a wonderful demonstration of the power of cross stitch to render in stitches the dazzling effects of precious metals and gemstones, using a simple combination of solid color floss, metallics and seed beads on a fabric background. Quite a feat we believe on the part of the designer, and worth every cross stitch on the part of the stitcher. These pieces are simply gorgeous. Check out the lovely detail of these cross stitched pieces.
Bold, italic, caps, lower case: versatile fonts for cross stitch
Dana Batho of Peacock & Fig has created some superb cross stitch Alphabets, which she originally created for her bold designs with catchy phrases. The Alphabets - or cross stitch fonts - so to say, are elaborately designed, with variations such as large and smaller letters in somes cases, or italics. You can use them to adapt and personalize Dana's patterns, or you could stitch them on any cross stitch pattern where you would like to add text.
Peacock & Fig animal illustrations are wonderfully detailed and exquisitely charted. The number of floss colors is never too large, yet those colors are carefully selected so as to create maximum contrast. Fine backstitch work, in gold or black, adds just enough extra detail here and there. Check out some patterns close up .
There are many beautiful of Alphabets available to stitchers but rarely has a designer put so much thought into designing a cross stitch font that would work for so many combinations. In fact, Dana designed them for her own use, with a lot of attention paid to the way her stitched letters worked together.
The two new alphabets include Caps and Lower case as well as a line guide so you know where to position your Caps. A detailed guide as to how to use the alphabets is also included with the charts.
