My snails
COUNTED CROSS STITCH CHART BY TOM & LILY

We love Tom and Lily's fun series of cross stitch animal patterns. They come in bright playful colors, usually in threes such as this triptych which you can place horizontally in a line or vertically, one on top of each other.

Part of the fun is selecting the beautiful background fabrics for your needlework, such as the vivid turquoise, pink and green hand dyed linen needlework fabric used for this stitched piece.

Melanie Couffe, Tom & Lily's designer, used hand dyed artisan embroidery floss from Atalie. DMC and Anchor substitutes are also provided (solid colors). We would encourage you to you use them as a guide and select you own favorite overdyed thread colors, in harmony with the fabrics sourced. It will make your needlework truly unique.
