This large Christmas cross stitch project has so much detail you and your family will spend hours looking at it when you proudly display it each Christmas.

Take the attic. This is where Santa sleeps, under the snow covered roof. Santa is getting dressed and slipping on his boots. He's already neatly made his bed with its white and green checkered bedcover. His red cloak and hat are hanging on the hook. He'll be off shortly.

Indeed the reindeer are ready outside. A little elf is tending to them, bringing water in a pail. Standing further back, close to the large fir tree, a wooden toy soldier watches on. Further still in the distance is a sleepy village at the foot of the mountains.

Back in the house, everyone is so busy... An elf is perched on a ladder, hanging the mistletoe, a fire roars in the fire-place while a tabby cat sleeps in a comfortable looking armchair, unaware of a little mouse's whereabouts.

Next to the living room is the workshop. Most of the toys are ready on the shelf but Santa's little workers are still putting the last finishing touches, needle and paintbrush in hand. 

Downstairs in the kitchen, there is such a wonderful smell. Mrs Claus is busy baking Christmas muffins, in her old fashioned woodstove. Most of the cakes are already laid on the living-room table, all set with its pretty white tablecloth with a holly border.

Outside the sleigh is waiting, full of beautifully wrapped gifts. Santa, it's time to go!
