A well lit house stands in the foreground against a purple sky. The layout of this pattern is particularly interesting, with two different levels:

- All the main Halloween characters stand in the foreground (though the witch is flying and the spider hanging).

- In the background, the reddish sky contrasts with a silhouette landscape, more houses, tombs, barren trees and rolling hills while the stars and an orange moon start to shine.

The colors and the sunset are particularly appealing, standing out on the grey background. The piece was cross stitched on Storm Gray 28ct Jobelan but would also work on raw linen or any dark color.
