This pretty dragonfly motif come in a harmony of lime and plum summer colors. The translucent wings and body are rendered, in beautiful detail and with an exquisitely light touch, in a mixture of cross-stitch and backstitch, using only 7 solid cotton floss colors, though the overall effect is striking.

The cross stitch piece is mounted in the center of a cushion, and framed by 2 bands of fabric to chose in colors matching the embroidery threads used. Assembly, in the manner of quilting, is very easy and the instructions for mounting the cushion cover are provided with the chart. Cushion size when stitched on 14 ct Aida or 28 ct linen over two threads: approx 11 x 11 inch.

This cushion will be very decorative on a garden chair in summer. Serve with cold drinks!
