Polar Mittens

Who can resist stitching these extra cute mittens to hang on the Christmas tree?
Each ornament features a different animal: polar bear, penguin, seal, fox, rabbit and deer.
The base fabric (white Aida) is entirely filled with cross stitch. The stitched part is then cut out to shape and a piece of felt or backing fabric used to make a mitten shape. White wool thread is for hanging on the tree. Instructions are included for finishing the ornament.
Tip: leaving the upper part open, you can insert treats and sweets into the ornament.
Each pattern measures 3 x 2 3/4 inch (6.5 cm x 7.5 cm) when stitched on 14ct Aida. You can make the ornaments even smaller by stitching on 18ct, they will then measure 2 1/3 inch x 2 inch (5.2 cm x 6 cm)
While these mittens come in beautiful scandinavian blues and toned down colors, there is also a matching series of mitten ornaments in cheerful Christmas colors.
