1. Small is beautiful, make the message tiny and cute: it will measure less than 3 inch on 18ct Aida, or even less than 2 inch if stitched over a single thread, on 28ct linen or evenweave.

2. Add variations in color, without changing threads
Overdyed and variegated threads will be perfect for stitching these designs. Pick a favorite color. We suggest stitching full cross stitches and working areas, not rows to avoid stripy effects.

3. Make a key-ring:
We suggest switching to a dark background fabric - so it doesn't get dirty - and stitching on a tighter count (see above) to make it small and cute. Stitch a different quote on each side. Trim into a round or square shape and mount cushion-style with a bit of stuffing inside.
