Also for embellishing with metallic or pearlescent threads.

Pick a pretty, colorful, hand-dyed fabric for a textured background

or, for extra sparkle, an Aida fabric woven with metallic or pearlescent filaments.

Add beads, add charms.

Finish with a simple frame and hang with a color-coordinated ribbon.
