The chart contains a lot of detail and a couple of fractional stitches, especially for the detail of the poinsettia ornaments on the gifts. Like many of the designer's charts this cross stitch design is also lavishly embellished with seed-beads and metallic thread detail. The "metal" parts of the sled in particular are rendered in golden beads. Should you prefer, you could also substitute these with cross-stitch worked in gold metallic thread.

You can stitch this chart on a natural linen, pale blue or gray canvas fabric, or even on pure white. Another fun alternative would be to cross stitch on Zweigart's polka dot linen fabric which is evocative of snowdrops.
