Here's Romance in Paris, Shannon Christine Designs's delightful cross stitch piece evoking a romantic escapade in Paris.

The design takes the form of four stitched "postcards" featuring items evocative of the precious time spent together: a bottle of perfume, a key, a birdcage, jewels, a mirror... Each small "card" has a miniature stamp reinforcing the idea of a message, a love letter.

There are two lovely bright tones, fushia and turquoise, standing out over a white lace motif on a sepia background. The needlework is embellished with some beadwork adding an extra feminine touch.

The chart layout consists of 4 square designs which you can stitch side by side or which you can stitch separately.
