Paradise Found Sampler
CROSS STITCH PATTERN READY TO DOWNLOAD, DESIGNED BY RIVERDRIFT HOUSE
In the designer's own words:
“This sampler design features a classic Elizabethan Manor house, based on Trerice Manor in Cornwall, in the far south west of England. It is now cared for by the National Trust and open to visitors. The beautiful interior and lovely garden here is my idea of paradise, it is a very special place to visit - like a dream.
The apparently random colouring to the border gives the feel of wandering through a lovely garden through the seasons and is more interesting to stitch. It also brings a more modern, lighter look to the finished sampler.
I have left a place to complete with the stitcher’s initials and year date in the traditional way.”
Creative Poppy says:
An intricate cross stitch piece, with both colors and motifs gently balanced. It alternates figurative patterns such as the manor itself or the birds, sheep, benches, and other more ornamental motifs.
